Spanking! Is it weird?

I always thought I was weird...or sick, as I grew up with this interest from a very young age. Until I discovered the internet and "came out " on the first group I had had only lurked on until I left my husband,. I thought there was something horribly wrong with me. I was so relieved to find out that I was not alone. (I know, this is an oft repeated story!) Is it weird...no...am I weird? Most defintely!

For myself, the spanking experience is so totally encompassing, a wonderfully intimate time; the talking, the touching, the spanking, the rubbing/caressing, the hugging/cuddling and the after care. It is often a release of stress and sometimes anger. It is sometimes giggles and laughter. It is always the trust and the knowledge that my partner and I are important to one another. If I am lying on the bed and I am snugged up against his side with his arm around me as he is spanking me, I feel safe, cherished and cared for in the most beautiful way.
