Some thoughts on hairbrushes

The only thing worse than the hairbrush, is a bathbrush.

Oh no... you guys are starting to scare me. My husband recently purchased a bathbrush. I HATE the hairbrush, and I haven't even experienced the bathbrush yet. I wonder if he's keeping it around as a punishment implement. *shudder* I hope he forgets that it is there.

Um, Rose, One thing we can guarantee is that he will NOT forget it's there. Best advice we can give? Stay out of trouble

I've often said it's not the implement but the one who wields it. Bathbrushes however are decidely a tool of discipline.

I have always thought that if a spankee used profanity during her session she deserved a bit more. I guess the bathbrush might be excussed cause those things are bad. I've never used one myself but I watched one used at a party once ochhh!!!!

Speaking from the Top perspective, I would note that hairbrushes have tradition with them, and carry a good deal of cachet in the spanking world. When one wants formality and connection to the parental atmosphere, they rank with the best.

As for me, I prefer them to be facing away. We all get something a little different out of spanking. For me, the discipline aspect -- even when not real discipline -- is the focus, and so with the girl facing away attention for both is one the key part of the anatomy associated with spanking.

Bathbrush is definitely evil. The hairbrush -- I honestly can't recall specifically, being spanked with it so few times. I am partial to leather.
