Interesting question. Some years ago O'Hara said in an interview that she was left with welts on her buttocks from the spanking with the shovel, thats how realistic it was. No stunt double, or protective padding used obviously.
Wouldnt you just love some of the present crop of actresses receiving a spanking like that?
