Couldn't agree more with the general view about the extent of this so called spanking. I raised this issue some time ago and was disappointed to see the extent to which some would go and still consider this to be a 'spanking'. Yes I have been soundly spanked so that my poor bottom was tender but this was usually administered with a strong hand. No deep brusing and no scars - mentally or otherwise. From time to time I have to yield to my need to be spanked but I would run a mile at the thought of being treated cruelly. A well desreved spanking resulting in tears and a chastened feeling keeps me going for quite a while, Untril the next time!
