Away from my own personal reasons I have an idea of something that may make her more receptive.

Show her how very loving a spanking can be. How it can feel good, be gentle, caring, quiet, erotic, sensual. Show her how it can make HER feel good. Not why it will make you feel good. Seeing her enjoy it, will in turn make you feel good
