I have every intention of growing old and gray with my vanilla hubby. He may be vanilla, but he is so perfect in so many other important ways. I know I am exceedingly lucky to have him, and I'm keeping him.

It does help a lot that he is understanding about my quirks and lets me pursue this interest on my own. If he were judgemental about my kink, that would make it more difficult.
