Well, I can't speak for everyone, but on a personal basis I can note that I had a misunderstanding also. Though I can't recall at the moment what it was, for some reason from one of her posts I had the notion that tee was a guy, but was not for certain. It might be because she spells her name (on this board, at least) with the more typical male version. She has a name commonly used by both sexes. So when I found myself in chat one night with her and a close-by real life friend, I gingerly stepped around the issue so as not to offend, until the friend clarified it for me.
