some thoughts on paddles

I much prefer a leather paddle to a wooden one but that is probably because I don't get spanked often enough to build tolerance.

I have a weird relationship with paddles. generally I hate them on the bare as mentioned above. But for some reason a hard paddling over jeans is just one of my favorite things.

I am sure is has to do with the relationship of sting and thud but nothing else feels quite like it.

I think it is just how we were raised that the paddle tends to be thought of a a punishment implement. I think over in England they have the same relationship with the cane. Its just a vision of punishment from childhood on.

Leather has a totally different feel to it. I like to use leather as well. Wish I could help you build your tolerence level.

I understand the fear in wooden paddles. They do BITE! I have been fortunate enough to have them used in play so not to feed this fear. Although, I know I'm in big time trouble if a wooden paddle or that blasted hairbrush comes out for punishment.

I hate paddles. I hate the kind of pain they inflict.

Of course, tho, I go thru these periods where I want something hard. I always regret it after the first swat...lol.....

Except in a few instances, I have been bare for my paddlings. If used hard enough (as RG used once in a punishment), the pain is enormous and excruciating. During one spanking, I lost awareness of my surroundings. I NEVER wanna do that again!

If I can stay fully clothed I have NO fear of paddles. If pants and/or panties have to come down the anxiety builds.

I love small paddles, they are fun to get in play. Big paddles, I'm a sucker for variety so I love them... in small doses.


For discipline if it's a big paddle it makes me week in the knees... But at the moment I'm a free agent so there's no discipline. SO Bring on the PADDLE fun!

Paddles! Love to use them on others, pretty much hate wood paddles used on me! I much prefer leather paddles used on myself. I definitely think there is a place for wood paddles...just not on my bum!
