Mine was a 1981 Mercury Zephyr. Fairly decent car, for the teenager that I was. Ugly dirty looking blue color and it hesitated a lot (not good, but something my dad always said was in my mind, or was happening cuz I didn't know how the hell to drive so I was happy when it did it to him one day when he drove it - kinda vindicated me
) It went thru spark plugs about once every two weeks.The oil light also came on about once every two weeks as well.
It was a 4 door - not cool for a teenager - but then again, my dad paid $900 for it and I drove all three of my siblings to school every morning as well (that was the deal for it to be 'my' car, with partial insurance paid)
