Hear hear.

I had the double honor this weekend of both escorting Adelina to this event and being one of the menfolk who got to wear authentic Antebellum clothing at the event on RG's behalf. Both were amazing honors to have. Every element of this wedding was meticulously planned out and carried out in perfect order. The ceremony, while surprising brief (only 25 minutes or so), was extremely touching. The bride and groom looked excellent in their outfits. The classical music played was well done. After the wedding, there was a saber ceremony which was very fun.

The reception was packed for most of the night. The happy couple did some waltzing which was a wonderful sight to behold. It took a while to make our way through the formal dances, but it was a fun challenge. The bride and groom actually had two cakes there, one traditional wedding cake and one set of four cakes that made up a civil war diorama that was just amazing to behold.

There were about six of "our folks" there including Adelina and myself, and we all made it a point to stay throughout the reception and pitch in where applicable, whether it was getting out on the dance floor in our outfits or hanging ceremonial flags in the reception hall.

All in all it was a perfect day and it couldn't happen to a nicer couple. RG and sarah have been extremely kind and gracious to me the entire time I've known them. They are truly wonderful people who deserve the happiness that they now get to share the rest of their lives.

I wish them both a long and happy marriage and once again thank Adelina for granting me the honor of escorting her to this event. It meant the world to me.
