Paul (Tubaman) here.
First off, I don't have the words adequately to thank you all for the kind thoughts. Lyn and I are truly blessed to know you all.
Second, we are home, here in Richardson. Lyn still has a tube to breathe with and a tube in her tummy to eat with, but both are temporary. We will be returning to MD Anderson on the 28th, to see about the ppossibility of Lyn eating again, so keep your fingers crossed.
After that, we'll be seeing the surgeon August 8th, to see about removing the breathing tube from her throat.
Lyn hopes to make the Bottoms Up party a week from today (the 26th). She always gets a lift surrounded by wonderful friends, so hopefully, we'll be able to see you all then.
Finally, I will make every effort to be on chat tomorrow evening. Lyn's trach requires almost constant care, so if I am chatting and disappear, don't worry. I'll be back.
Again, my sincerest thanks to you all.
