.........It was noticeable to me as I administered this punishment how silent and attentive everyone was. It is pleasing that even the boys, usually quite rowdy, gave their full attention to what was going on. I think I can truly say that the only sound to be heard was the sound of the cane landing on Samantha's bare rear, and the rather louder sounds of course that Samantha was herself making. I think it was a nice touch that Mrs Dobson provided her with a tissue to enable her to dry her eyes and compose herself before pulling her knickers back up and turning to face the gaze of all in the school..........
