Things that make you go hmmmm...

So watching the news just now they have an entire segment on spanking...granted it was not the consensual type that we practice, but still.

Massachusetts is currently trying to get a statewide ban on spanking it seems....

I couldn't help but shake my head at some of the reasoning such as it lowers the childs IQ. It does worry me that the state would want to come and take away personal rights that way and i can't help but wonder....do they come after consensual adults next?

But on a lighter side....can i use the excuse "you can't spank me...i won't learn any better because you are lowering my IQ making it HARDER for me to learn....." ;)

That's rediculous. I think the better reasoning is b/c some times ppl that have that sort of power granted to them take it to far.

Why does this remind me of those times in the 60's when
people were accused of being communists?
Close-minded people who judge others because of fear.
